Welcome to our Cabin On the bay of North Sand Lake!! We have 100 feet of sandy shoreline and we are just a few steps to crystal clear water that is great for swimming. Bring your boat. You will have access to beautiful North sand lake thru our channel which is in our bay! Our bay is super calm and great for kayaking or canoeing! The fishing is great also. Our Quaint, quiet cabin is on the beautiful east side of the bay with a great sunset. Swim, fish, or lounge to your hearts content. Relax on one of our large decks and enjoy the warm sun or sit in the shade and catch a breeze. In the evening enjoy roasting marshmallow in the fire pit. Beautiful, North Sand Lake is a 1000 acre lake that is crystal clear, its a great recreation lake for swimming, fishing, tubing and other water activities. We are located 20 miles northeast of Siren. Resort communities of Voyager Village, Siren, Spooner, Webb Lake and Hayward are short drives and offer many activities including golf, shopping, casino, restaurants and more.

We are also right off the ATV trails and the area is beautiful for a walk, hike, or bike ride. Cabin is 2 bedrooms (double bed in one, double/single bunk bed in the other) but offers extra sleeping with two pull out couches and optional loft room above the shed (queen air mattress and a little extra space). Open design and table for 8-10 keeps the gang together and makes cooking, eating, and playing games easily a group thang. Plenty of amenities to help you enjoy your Northwoods weekend - grill right on the deck, firepit, canoe and paddleboat...

I say this because it is an older small ma/pa fishing/ relaxing family place. It’s not fancy, there are quirks, and it is not perfect. It is a place that has some updates and plumbing, but the main focus is the family, campfires, beach and small lake fun. The buildings are older and will always have - ‘to be done’ - projects waiting on a list some where. We like to enjoy the property too, While we are working on various items often an eagle flying over head, a loon call, or a fish jumping in the lake will take over any project priority. We like it that way, and don’t want to have to apologize for little items that don’t get completed. They will be there to finish when we come up the next time. That is what this place is about. We work, and fix things so they are nicer than when we came, and enjoy life and the cabin property too. We do clean often and it is an awesome place to enjoy the woods and lake. 2 lakeside cozy rustic cabins just a few steps to the property beach and wetlands with wildlife viewing and sunny beach days. 2 Cabins for one nightly price. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a small kitchen. These are no-frills cabins. There is no TV to distract you from spending time with family and friends and nature. These tiny house type cabins were built in the late 1960s and are about 550 square feet. They have characteristics and furnishings of the Ma-Pa resorts of those days and have the basic necessities of living. There is a campfire area on the beach and free use of kayak, and paddleboat. There are wildlife to watch eagles, turtles, beaver, and birds of various kinds, and fishing off the dock. We get some deer too. The property is on 1.5 acres of land and offers some privacy. The lake is small and shallow with many smaller lakes in the area. There are a few bigger lakes that can be visited if you bring a boat. Remember to bring towels and your favorite pillow, blanket, and a book to read. You can expect that you will have time alone to ponder, think, or chat with your family or friends staying next door in your 2nd cabin. The loft is made for fun with some areas to hang out, play ping pong, or send the kids up for a movie. The cabin has been totally renovated and is ready to host your group with all the loving touches you need to enjoy your weekend “up north”. We love to share the magic of this area and hear about the experiences families enjoy – watching turtles sun themselves on the “big log”, catching fish off the dock with snoopy poles (or out on the lake for those in pursuit of larger fish), enjoying gooey s’mores, and just relaxing together for some belly laughs. These are the memories that make life grand! For the summer months, we offer weekly rentals (Fri-Fri). Bring the smores for those Northwoods nights around the fire-pit. Benoit Lake is a semi-private 300 acre, 41 foot deep sporting paradise. Fantastic fishing lake including 50-inch class Musky! Check out the photo! Smallmouth, Largemouth, Northern, Panfish and a few Walleye, too! The included 25 foot pontoon boat has a 75HP engine, enough to pull a tube, kneeboard, skier or wakeboard (provided!). Our cabin is totally isolated, but within 5 minutes of seven great Northwoods restaurant/bars. Can you say Friday Fish Fry! Four championship caliber golf courses lie within 30 minutes, including the fantastic Spooner Golf Club, Siren National and Voyageur Village courses. Located at the end of a dead end road means zero car traffic or noise, just the call of the loons and the happy laughter of the kids! We have a nesting pair of loons and you'll likely see deer, wild turkey, bald eagles and other wildlife. No steps from the walkout lower level to the dock. A large yard with gradual slope all the way to the lake means plenty of room for yard games. The water is very shallow with a sand bottom that gradually gets deeper, perfect for water volleyball! Bring the bikes ... we're close to trails for ATV, hiking and snowmobiles. Plenty of games, movies and books for that occasional rainy day. You'll find three giant enclosed bedrooms, a spacious loft and an additional sleeping area in the walkout lower level provide ample space for the whole family. Two separate living areas complete with flat screen TV, DVD, Blu-Ray, Wi-Fi and all the comforts of home. Central AC plus ceiling fans throughout for those hot summer evenings. Master bedroom has a king size bed with a huge private bathroom. Second story bedroom boasts a queen size bed plus an additional twin size bed. Lower level "bunk room" sleeps 6 with two 'twin-over-full' bunks. Spacious loft area has amazing views of the lake plus has full size futon sleeper. Downstairs family area comes complete with huge sectional with pullout queen sleeper, private bath, TV and table for cards and board games. Great for kids or teens to entertain themselves. Four bathrooms/three showers in our 2600 square foot home means no crowding and no waiting on busy mornings. Fish off the dock for sunfish, or head out onto Rooney Lake for walleye, northern pike, large mouth bass, crappies and blue gills. At night sit lakeside around the field stone campfire ring (wood provided) and listen to the sounds of nature and gaze at the night sky and stars. Time for storytelling and roasting s'mores! More adventurous? Checkout Jack's Canoe Rentals in Trego (just 17 minutes away) on the Namekagon River. Jack's Canoes will rent you canoes, kayaks or tube . Pickup services supplied to paddle or float down the river for day or overnight trips on the Namekagon and St. Croix Rivers. You can also rent canoes and kayaks from Jack's for delivery to Rooney Lakeshore Lodge. Several excellent golf courses are nearby. Voyager Village golf 18 hole course is a 15 minute drive. Nestled in the tall pines and oaks of Northwestern Wisconsin sits our newly remodeled 5 bedroom lake home just 10 miles Northeast of Webster, WI. The beautiful morning sunrise from the front deck and peaceful surroundings bring back a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Green Lake is a smaller lake with 251 acres. Perfect for those who are not interested in the high traffic of larger lakes. We have some vegetation on the lake bottom and prefer to keep things slow as to not create more vegetation growth. Our Lake is focused on a slower pace and we request to keep the wake to a minimum. You can still enjoy most of your favorite activities of lake life. Canoeing, Kayaking, paddle board or rent a pontoon for a casual cruise, tubing and swim around the lake. Should you wish to waterski, jet ski or have a need for speed we ask that you trailer to our neighboring lake. On the main floor we offer a large great room over looking the lake, laundry, bath and 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and third bedroom has a full size bed. On the lower level we have a family room with 2 Queen futon and a twin futon chair, a second shower/utility bath room along with 2 other bed rooms. The first of the 2 bedrooms has a day bed with trundle and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The lake home accommodates 10 easily. Maximum 15. Just finished renovations on our Family Cabin. It has an open concept with living room, kitchen and dining facing huge windows over-looking clean Middle McKenzie 550 acre lake. Our cabin has a perfect view of the lake, with gradual elevation to the water. We have a private dock, where the water is very shallow and swimmable. Bring your boat, the public launch is a block away, or rent our pontoon for $100 a day. Middle McKenzie Lake is an amazing fishing lake for muskie, pan fish, large mouth bass, northern, walleye. We also have a paddle boat and two new kayaks for your use. The cabin has two bedrooms, one of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, the other a queen and a double bed. The great room has a queen pull out and a double pull out couch. We do provide linens, beach towels, a full kitchen, hairdryer and more. There is a huge flat screen TV in the living room with Apple TV. Wifi is available. There is also a smaller tv for kid’s movies and gaming if needed. There is a fire pit for you to have campfires and roast marshmallows in the evening (we do have roasting rods for your use) as well as a gas or charcoal weber grill. The deck overlooks the water where you can listen to the loons and watch the eagles soar, or read a book in the hammock. We do offer the option to rent our pontoon which is a 2003 Leisure with 40 hp—pulls the smaller kids on tubes for $500 week which includes one tank of gas. This is the perfect place for relaxing. We are at the end of a road with no neighbors on two sides. If you want to venture out, the town of Spooner is 16 miles away and has a very charming main street with shops including a bakery, antique shops, a train museum, bowling alley. And the Voyagers Village Golf and Country Club is 7 miles away. You could also take a canoe trip down the Namekagon River in Trego (14 miles away). The St. Croix Casino in Hertel is 17 miles away, and the St. Croix Danbury is 22 miles away. We also have recommendations for the best breakfast, pizza, and up north dining in the cabin when you check in—all less than 15 minutes away.

Formerly a resort lodge built in 1958, Walker's Lodge has been updated and remodeled and is the ideal year-round vacation home for families and groups to make memories. And we've recently been the location in the making of a film (but we're not allowed to release details yet)! The air-conditioned lodge sits on 290 acre Nicaboyne Lake, which is a fun, fully recreational lake between 10am-5pm. The area feels more peaceful than some of the other lakes in the area as the east side of the lake is undeveloped. When you look out to the lake from the lodge and beach it somewhat resembles the boundary waters. The lodge is set back from neighboring cabins, which were originally part of the resort, and is nestled in the woods, offering privacy. Its expansive front lawn is perfect for yard games like softball, kickball, tug of war, etc. The yard also has a shuffleboard and a horseshoe pit. Kids love the large play set, too! The great room of the lodge has a lovely stone fireplace, large bar (which was originally the check-in desk), and a piano. The dining room offers seating for 30 and is full of large windows and light. As the resort was a fully functional restaurant at one point, it also has a commercial kitchen perfect for making meals together. Right off of the kitchen is the former lodge owner’s private quarters, which has an additional living room, full bathroom, and two bedrooms. It also has a separate entrance with an amazing screened-in porch, paver patio, Weber grill, and fire pit. Right off of the great room and facing the woods is a second screened-in porch, where many love to read and relax during rain showers. Ice fishing is also very popular, and guests love the easy access to the lake directly from our property. Sunrises and sunsets are amazing on most days. Nights are cool and quiet. The air is fresh and clean, and there is the sound of Loons and other wild life during evening and early morning hours. Our property is completely private. There are no cabins visible on either side of us, and there is never any automobile traffic for miles around us because we are on a dead end road. Very safe for families with young children. We offer our cabin for rent by the week only. Our cabin comfortably sleeps 12. The cabin is well maintained, it is very clean and we take a lot of pride in our home. On the main level we have 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed, this bedroom also offers a 50 inch flat smart screen TV, a mini fridge and lots of storage; and one with a queen. The walk out lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunks, it has a closet and dresser, the lower level also offers a second private bedroom with a queen and a roll out single, perfect for a child. All of our beds are very comfortable. I made sure to choose all cozy, soft bedding. The cabin offers central air, 3 big flat screen TV's all with DVD players. 2 living room areas, a completely stocked kitchen of all dinnerware, utensils, appliances including coffee pot, waffle maker, toaster, crock pot, electric griddle, Kuerig coffee pot, bake ware and pot n pans, everything you need for a comfortable stay. New fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc... Dining area and a huge screened in porch with additional room for dining, for those who prefer to have their meals outdoors, with no bugs while overlooking the lake. We offer two brand new bathrooms as well, both have been gutted and put back together with brand new amenities. The lower lever does have a washer and dryer in cabin for your use at no additional charge. We do supply some linen, 12 bath towels per week, also dish towels, wash cloths but you would need to supply your own beach towels. We also supply a certain amount of toilet paper (12 rolls) and paper towels, we also leave hand soap at each sink, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap, and also some cleaning supplies. After those items are gone it would be your responsibility. Outside, the cabin sits on 14 acres of land, it is very private. The lake is cozy but big enough to enjoy tubing and skiing if you choose. We do own a canoe, paddle boat, 4 kayaks and a swimming rafts all for your enjoyment. The fishing is great and the lake is full of nice size pan fish including Bass, Perch, Crappie, Sunny and Northern. We have a beautiful sandy beach, the beach is literally less than 2 minutes from the cabin down a small hill, we throw the kids in the radio flyer wagon and off we go. We have a brand new dock with plenty of room for fishing, swimming or docking your boat, if you choose to bring it, or feel free to rent our pontoon. The water is crystal clear. We have an picnic area on the beach (the water is too high this year so we had to remove this) and some chaise chairs for sun tanning, reading and relaxing. There is also a playground area for children and horseshoes for adults, this area also offers another picnic area. There is also a great area for campfires overlooking the lake with all the firewood you will need for your stay. The cabin does have a small deck where you can watch the sun set over the lake, the deck provides a gas grill for nights you choose to barbeque. We are located in Danbury WI. Roughly 2 hours from the Twin Cities. We are less than 15 minutes from St. Croix Casino. Also close too golf, restaurants, great fishing lakes, shopping, river tubing, ATV trails, directly on snowmobiling trail. Located near Webster and Danbury, WI just an hour and a half north of the Twin Cities and an hour south of Superior/Duluth in beautiful Burnett County, Wisconsin you can escape the city life and relax in a cozy 'up north' setting where you can actually see the stars at night! Trails are located right out the door to snowmobile or ATV and we are connected by a series of world-class ATV and snowmobile corridors and trails. Beautiful trails, rider-friendly restaurants, and the variety of landscapes across our corner of the state make northwestern Wisconsin a premiere ATV and Snowmobile destination! Burnett County has over 300 miles of snowmobile trails and they also connect to a regional trail system to the larger northwest Wisconsin network. Ride the Gandy Dancer Trail to get to your favorite local trails. ATV trails also take you through the expansive Burnett County Forest. Additional miles of ATV/UTV routes provide connections to some of our neighboring counties. The very large garage/shed and outside paved parking will accommodate all of your vehicles and gear. Perfect for couples, families, and friends seeking peace, quiet, adventure, and nature - both on the property and off. Relax while watching the wildlife (deer, bald eagles, bear, fox, wild turkeys, sand hill cranes . . .) wander or fly by and enjoy the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside - perfect for late night bonfires and early morning coffee. Once inside you'll see that the property is much larger than it appears from the outside and yet has a welcoming cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is complete with everything you need, including microwave and dishwasher, and large enough to accommodate a group. Large dining room table and counter seating as well. The 3 bedrooms sleep 8 very comfortably. The large master bedroom has a king bed with a beautiful view, over-sized bath and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom also has a beautiful view with queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has a double and bunk beds. With a large master bath (with over-sized bathtub and separate shower) as well as a 2nd full bathroom there won't be any waiting! The living room is large and yet cozy with a gas fireplace. Our hope is you will use your time here to truly 'unplug' and relax - there are bookshelves loaded with games, puzzles and books. There is a TV/Blu-Ray player for movies, and a stereo/CD - bring your favorite CDs! There is internet, but it can be spotty in this area, so there is no guarantee on a consistent signal. There is a large entry off the side door with washer/dryer, sink, large closet and cupboards - perfect for cleaning up and all of your gear after a great day outside. Outside there is a fire-pit with cooking grate that will create many lasting memories - and great s'mores! You will need to bring your own firewood though. You can also cook using the charcoal Weber grill (charcoal not provided) and dine on the large picnic table. There is a large area for yard games as well as a regulation horseshoe pit for hours of outdoor entertainment. Trails are located right out the door to snowmobile or ATV, hike, cross country ski, and bike (just a few miles to the Gandy Dancer trail), lakes nearby for fishermen (Connors, Devils, Johnson, Big Yellow, Big Sand, Minong Flowage, etc. nearby), hunters (1/2 mile from public land). Nearby lakes are not only for fishing but swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and sunbathing. Located near the vacation destinations of Spooner, Hayward, Webster, Siren, and Danbury where you can explore the towns and shop for antiques, see a movie, golf, and enjoy the many restaurants, as well as explore the surrounding trails and lakes. Conifer Cove ( 5 Bedroom House and a 2 Bedroom cottage ) located in Northwestern Wisconsin just 2 hours from the Minneapolis St.Paul area. We are surrounded by 100 year old majestic pine trees. Conifer Cove sits on a hill overlooking Ascot Lake. Ascot lake is our privately owned lake, there are no other homes on this lake. Ascot Lake is a 10 acre lake that is approximately 40 feet deep. It is a very clean lake which makes it ideal for swimming and fishing. We have a swim raft for summer fun and a large fire pit with a pallet of wood provided . (there is a $25 charge for additional pallets) There are 3 row boat, 2 canoes and 2 paddle boats for your use at no extra charge. We also have a fish cleaning shack with lights and running water in the summer. There are several miles of hiking/ski trails on the property. We are surrounded by 65 acres of wooded land that has numerous trails for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. There is also a variety of natural wildlife to watch for, Eagles, Wood ducks, Piliated wood peckers, Deer, and an occasional Black Bear to name a few. The master has a king size bed, ensuite, and walk-in closet, while the other two bedrooms feature queen size beds, dressers, and closets for your use. You will find the kitchen fully equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, and a gas range. A dishwasher offers convenient clean up. No need to worry if you get dirty playing outside, there is a washer and dryer. Wi-fi and Direct TV IS available (May-October), but you don’t have to tell the kids. Central air will keep everyone cool on those hot summer days. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front deck as the sun rises, then an evening cocktail on the rear deck as you watch a picturesque sunset over the lake. You will find a large level yard for hours of outdoor games and family fun. Steps lead you down to the lake where the dock is in from May until October. Spend a peaceful afternoon fishing, or sit in your yard chair watching the kids splash and swim in the lake. In the evening you can enjoy a crackling fire as you listen for the call of the resident loons. There is a public boat launch about ¼ of a mile from the cabin. When you don’t want to cook, there are many area restaurants catering to everyone’s tastes, from Friday night fish fry’s or pizza, to great grilled burgers and ribs. You can find adventure on the nearby ATV/snowmobile trails or relax on the beautiful golf courses. There truly is something for everyone. A short 10 minute drive will lead you to go kart racing and mini-golf, scenic northern Wisconsin train rides, canoeing and tubing down the Namekagon river, or small town shopping. Venture a little further to find activities such as hiking the north shore near a waterfall or horseback riding. Snowshoeing and hiking at the cabin await you if you prefer to stay close. Throughout the year there are several area festivals and activities to enjoy. In July you will find excitement at the Spooner Rodeo and parade. In August you can cheer on the lumberjacks as they compete at the Jack Pine Savage Days. February brings the world renowned cross country ski race, the Birkibeiner. A short drive north you will find the Grandma’s Marathon in June, and the Whistlestop Marathon in October. No matter the season there is always something to do.
